Family: Araceae

Native to: southeastern Asia

Light conditions: somewhere with bright, indirect light, will not be happy with direct light.

Humidity: does not require extra humidity, however creating extra humid environment will help encourage strong, vigorous growth. They grow well in rooms such as kitchens or bathrooms. Alternatively you can place them near a humidifier or on a pebble tray

Misting: regular misting of the leaves is recommended for best results

Toxicity: mildly toxic to cats, dogs, and humans

Growability: very easy to grow, perfect for newbies

Air purifying: yes

 

Interesting fact: It is called “money plant ” by people living in the Indian subcontinent. People believe that having one can bring good luck, money and attracts positive chi.
